Pixel diagnostics

Diagnostics show whether the OpenAI Ads Pixel loaded and whether conversion events were sent. Planned warning checks are labelled as planned.

Planned diagnostic surface

The product interface is designed to show:

  • Pixel SDK loaded
  • Pixel initialized
  • Consent granted
  • oppref detected
  • Conversions API connected
  • Recent events and their send status

Planned warning checks

These checks are planned and not claimed as shipped:

  • OpenAI SDK blocked by Content Security Policy
  • Measurement consent has not been granted
  • No oppref attribution was detected
  • Event fired more than once
  • Browser event was sent but server event failed

How to use diagnostics

  1. Open a public page with the same consent state a visitor would have.
  2. Trigger one conversion.
  3. Confirm the event appears once.
  4. If both browser and server events exist, confirm they share an event ID.
